Financing

Financing is almost always an essential element of any successful acquisition transaction. Typically, the purchase of a business is financed using one or more of the following methods:

  • Seller Financing
  • Cash Flow Based Financing (SBA loans)
  • Personal Mortgage Loans
  • Asset Based Financing (Equipment Loans and Leases)
  • Lines of Credit
  • Personal Loans from Family and Friends

We can assist you in obtaining many types of financing for your acquisition. We have direct relationships with banks and SBA lenders, commercial finance companies, asset-based lenders, factors, venture capitalists, equipment financing companies and other nontraditional financing sources that offer creative solutions to difficult financing challenges.

The Small Business Administration’s web site, www.sba.gov/financing provides a primer on the basics of financing, as well as calculators for estimating costs and other useful information.
